Prabhat Kiran is a Hindi news, newspaper and ePaper service published by DIVYA PRABHAT PUBLICATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED. This Policy applies when readers, account holders, advertisers, contributors or visitors use prabhatkiran.co.in, official Prabhat Kiran Android/iOS applications, ePaper access, forms, emails or related digital services.

We do not ask readers to send passwords or OTP codes by email. Forms may collect only the details relevant to the particular request.

Technology
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website and apps may use cookies, local/device storage, Firebase services, hosting logs, analytics tools and advertising technologies to operate features, remember preferences, measure performance, prevent misuse and support advertising. The iOS app is configured not to collect Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA).
Third-party providers process information under their own terms and policies. Browser cookies can be managed through browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

When information may be shared
We do not sell reader account information. Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with authorized internal teams, hosting/authentication/analytics/notification providers, advertising or communication service providers, professional advisers, or government and legal authorities.
Service providers are expected to process information for the services they deliver. External websites linked from Prabhat Kiran are controlled by their respective owners.
Protection
Security and data transmission
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, including role-based access controls and encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections for supported web and app communications. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Storage period
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, account operation, support, newsroom accountability, security, fraud prevention, audit, legal compliance or business records. Different categories may have different periods.
A verified reader-account deletion request removes the authentication account and associated reader profile data. A limited deletion-request or security audit record may be retained for up to 180 days; records required by law, dispute preservation or regulatory obligations may be retained for the applicable required period. Reader control
Your choices and requests
- Update profile and preference information through available app controls.
- Turn optional notifications off in the app or device settings.
- Manage website cookies through browser controls.
- Request access, correction, deletion or review of personal information where applicable and technically feasible.
- Delete a reader account in the app or request deletion through the external web/email path.
We may request limited identity verification before acting on a request. Do not send passwords or OTP codes.

Prabhat Kiran is a general news service and is not directed specifically at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us for review.
